The desktop app is the same Bolt engine wrapped in a native shell with a few things a terminal can’t easily do.

What’s inside

Multi-window, multi-tab sessions. Run several agents in parallel across projects, each in its own tab.
Prompt composer. Rich input with file attachments and clipboard image paste — drop screenshots straight into the prompt.
Integrated terminal + file tree. Real shell and a project explorer next to the chat.
Command palette. Cmd/Ctrl+K to jump between sessions, run any Bolt command, or trigger a slash command.
Settings. Keybinds, models, providers, and configured servers, all editable in a real settings UI.
Native notifications. The OS notifies you when a long-running agent finishes.
Deep links. bolt:// URLs to jump to sessions from anywhere.
WSL integration on Windows. Runs against your WSL environment out of the box.
